July 19 & 20 was the weekend of San Diego Pride. As usual, the weekend kicked off with the most fabulous and fierce parade of thousands marching for those who can’t. This is a parade unlike any other, and one that Jojo and I love to attend. The moment we step out onto University Avenue in Hillcrest, we are surrounded by the warmest and most ecstatic feelings of joy and pride. The atmosphere is filled with so much love and acceptance, smiles on every single face, and all the colors of the rainbow symbolizing gay pride. All at once we are overwhelmed, inspired, loved, and welcomed in this mass of wonderful people. Here are a few images from our day at the gay pride parade.
